So many have heard tales of the US Air Force’s super-secret base known as “Area 51.”
Well, late one afternoon, the Air Force folks at Area 51 were surprised to see a small Cessna airplane landing at their secret base. They immediately surrounded the aircraft and hauled the pilot into an interrogation room.
The pilot nervously explained that he had taken off in Las Vegas, gotten lost, and spotted the base landing strip just as he was about to run out of fuel. The Air Force started a full background check on the pilot and held him overnight while they checked him out.
By the next morning, his interrogators were convinced that the pilot’s story was true: he really was lost, and wasn’t a spy. They gassed up his plane, gave him a terrifying “you did not see a base” warning — complete with threats of spending the rest of his life in prison, directed him back to Vegas, and sent him on his way.
The next day, to the total disbelief of the Air Force, the same pilot and Cessna showed up again. Immediately, the guards surrounded the plane. They saw that this time there were two people in the plane.
The same pilot jumped out with his hands up and said, “Do anything you want to me, but my wife is in the plane and you have to tell her where I was last night!”
