One dark night, two young men were walking home and decided to take a shortcut through a cemetery. When they got about half-way through, they were startled by a noise and stopped walking.
There was a terrifying “TAP! TAP! TAP!” coming from the shadows. Trembling with fear, they moved closer to the sound and spotted an old man with a hammer and chisel, chipping away at one of the headstones.
Breathing a sigh of relief, the youths approached him.
“Geez, Mister,” one of them said. “You SCARED us half to death. We thought you were a GHOST! What are you doing working here so late at night?”
“Those fools!” the old man grumbled. “They misspelled my name!”
