The Wilson NC Chamber of Commerce’s annual Diamond Dip is a can’t-miss gala and the an anticipated social event.
Music and champagne accompany the elegant dinner and silent auction. Many business in Wilson have contributed to the Silent Auction. Attendees also have the opportunity to win a piece of luxury from Vaughan’s Jewelers, who present the event each year, and potentially win a door prize.
Of course, as a chamber event, there is plenty of networking with business community members from Wilson and surrounding areas.
The event is April 23, 2016, from 7pm until 11pm. Returning for its fifth year, the Diamond Dip is at Pup’s Steakhouse, located at 2801 Ward Blvd, Ste 3D, in Wilson NC.
Expect dinner, dancing, and diamonds, according to the Chamber. “Cocktail attire” is the expected dress for the affair. Get ready to dance to music by DJ John Moore and Backyard Groove
Tickets for the 2016 Diamond Dip are $50 per person, and include dinner and a chance to win a pair of 14K diamond hoop earrings valued at $2,400. During the event, guests may purchase a bottomless glass of champagne for $20, or a bottle for $50, and receive an additional entry to win the earrings. Tickets may be purchased in advance from the Wilson NC Chamber, Vaughan’s Jewelers, or Pup’s Steakhouse.

- Mini Beef Wellingtons — Beef tips with mushroom duxille in a puff pastry.
- Veggie, Fruit and Chees Display
- Sous Vide Creole Chicken Tenders — Chicken tenders seasoned in a creole marinade and cook in a sous vide style.
- Roast Pork Sweet Potato Biscuits
- Petite Fours
- Mini assorted desserts

Last year on February 7, 2015, the Chamber held the Diamond Dip and nearly 250 people enjoyed the DJ, live music, food and beverages, chances to win prizes, and — the highlight of the evening — Marsha Williamson selected as the winner of a Gabriel & Co. diamond pendant valued at over $2,500. Over 200 attendees are expected for the 2016 Diamond Dip.
Vaughan’s Jewelers is located in the Brentwood Shopping Center, 2801 Ward Boulevard, in Wilson NC.
