The Franklin County Arts Council is sponsoring the Diversity in the Arts event on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 10am-4pm. This unique day showcasing diversity is open to the public, to be held in the Louisburg College JPAC, located at 501 N Main Street, Louisburg, North Carolina.
Enjoy a day showcasing diversity. The morning will start with International Film Shorts followed by One Spirit Native American Dance Group before a lunch break. Enjoy the Mariachi Angel’s de mi tierra mariachi band with your lunch.
Live music fills the afternoon. The Dunston Family Gospel Group will kick off the afternoon inside the JPAC, followed by Overtone Productions. Mr. Overtone’s music career started in NYC at Queens College in Flushing NY. He performs all genre of music.
The energetic Jazz/Funk musician and composer saxophonist Freddy Greene “Street Genie” will close the day with a jazz concert. “He weaves the smooth and mellow sounds of classic Jazz with innovative Funk”.
