PLEASE NOTE:

The Rocky Mount Police Department will hold a Drive-Thru School Supplies Giveaway on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, 4-6pm, in the parking lot of the Frederick E. Turnage Municipal Building.

The event is for children in grades K-5. Attendees are asked to remain in their cars.

In conjunction with National Night Out, the Rocky Mount Police Department will hold a Back-to-School Drive-Thru Giveaway on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, 6-8pm, at the Rocky Mount Municipal Stadium.

Any child in grades kindergarten through fifth grade will be eligible to receive a bag of school supplies while they last. Children must be present to receive their bags. For safety precautions, attendees are asked to remain in their cars.

Said Yvette Jones, Community Services Manager:  “Despite the ongoing pandemic, the Rocky Mount Police Department remains committed to serving the community. We are exited to celebrate National Night Out while assisting our youth with some of the necessities they’ll need for the upcoming school year.”

The Rocky Mount Municipal Stadium is located in the sports complex, 600 Independence Drive, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Rain Date: In the event of rain, the giveaway will be postponed to Thursday, August 6, 2020.
