The Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation department is hosting a Special Needs Population Prom on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Imperial Centre for the Arts and Sciences. Dubbed “A Night in Hollywood,” the Special Needs Population Prom will include a red carpet, dinner, dancing, photos and formal attire.
Says Emily Randell, recreation services supervisor:
“The Special Needs Population Prom has become a popular event in this community. It provides a great atmosphere for attendees to socialize and enjoy a formal Hollywood themed dance.”
Imperial Centre for the Arts and Sciences is located at 270 Gay Street, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Happening 6-9pm, this annual event attracts all ages, from high school to senior citizens. The registration fee to attend is $7 for city residents and $10 for non-city residents. Pre-registration is required, and the deadline is April 16, 2018.
For more information on the prom and to register, call Randell at 252.972.1135. Anyone interested in attending the prom may also register by visiting the Parks and Recreation office located on the third floor of the Frederick E.
