Almost a year ago, Twin County Hall of Fame Banquet brought in over 400 attendees, that allowed Rocky Mount Event Center to showcase it’s Edgecombe Room.  On Thursday, November 7, 2019, they will be returning to the facility for The Twin County Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Banquet where new members who have made significant contributions to life in the Twin Counties will be inducted.

Twin County Museum and Hall of Fame’s mission is to celebrate the history, culture, people and accomplishments of Egdecombe and Nash counties in eastern North Carolina.  The museum is dedicated to the heroes of the surrounding area.  The men and women, past and present, who have made a significant impact in the Twin Counties.

This year additional 10 new members will be inducted into the Twin County Hall of Fame, whose plaque will be added to the wall located in the facility on later date.  To recognize those individuals, the ceremony will consist of a social that will begin at 5:30pm, in which dinner and a program will follow. Dave Iery, President of Twin County Hall of Fame had this to say about the upcoming banquet, “The first Induction into the Twin County’s Hall of Fame was in November 2004.

The Twin County Hall of Fame 16th Annual Induction Banquet at the Rocky Mount Event Center will bring the total number of Hall of Fame Inductees to 148.

Join us as we preserve Rocky Mount’s history by honoring those who have made significant contributions to the Twin Counties as well as the world.   If you have not taken time to view the portraits hanging in the Rocky Mount Event Center or if you have never attended one of our banquets, you will be amazed at the talent associated with the Twin Counties and the contributions to society that these people have made.  Please join us on November 7th as we continue to honor those who have helped put the Twin Counties on the map.”

Tickets to the event are currently on sale with a price of $50 per person.  A table may be purchased for $600, which will include 10 seats.  To purchase tickets, see the EventBrite page.
