The Town of Wake Forest, North Carolina, is partnering with Aging Care Matters and the Northern Wake Senior Center to host a free webinar, Adult Day Care Programs & Services for Seniors, on Thursday, October 28, 2021, 6-7pm.

The webinar will feature a presentation by Advanced Professional Aging Life Care Manager Carla Payne who will highlight adult day care options in the area and assistance programs available to local caregivers.

The session will also include a 30-minute question-and-answer period moderated by Wake Forest Commissioner Adam Wright.

Said Wright:  “I am often asked about adult day care and the availability of community resources. This webinar is intended to make sure that residents who are caring for adults and need assistance know what help is available to them.”

Community members are asked to register in advance at bit.ly/WFAdultDayCareWebinar. When registering, you will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

“We will collect questions up front to help ensure our residents get their questions answered,” said Wright. “Submitting questions in advance will help us ensure as many questions are answered as possible.”

Residents may also watch the information webinar live on WFTV 10. The Town’s government access channel is available to residents and businesses that subscribe to Spectrum Cable TV service. WFTV 10 is also provided in real-time streaming video at www.wakeforestnc.gov/communications/wftv-10.

A video of the information session will be available for viewing online the following week.
