You’re driving home one day. Coming up to the man road from a side street, you stop at a stop sign. A car coming up the main road turns left onto the side road across from where you’re stopped. The car is moving a little too fast, and as it makes the turn, you see it knock down a signpost on the shoulder and continue driving away.
Since it was driving away from you, you can see its license plate. Do you think that you would report the car to the local police? Or do you think you would just go on your way? Do you think that you would stop to fix the signpost?
