From Maine to North Carolina and across the country, hackers change road signs across the country. Rather than warning drivers about night construction hours or detours, the sign warned of Zombies!
This “hacking” has been going on for years. In fact, the intersection at Morrisville-Carpenter Road and Route 55 (Cary NC) sported a zombie construction signs in July 2010 (see photo).
Fortunately, no actual zombies have attacked and the warnings have merely been pranks.
