Bunn High in Championship Game Tonight

Tonight is the night! The Varsity Football team from Bunn High School is playing in the 2AA State Championship at Carter-Finley Stadium.

Tonight, December 12, 2015, Bunn’s Wildcats will take the field for the 8:05pm game. Bunn being the family-oriented and football-friendly place that it is, there should be a good crowd of local fans to cheer the Varsity Football team on!

Bunn NC is located in Franklin County NC. Many a student from the Wildcats football team has gone on to a football career or to college with a football scholarship.

Their opponent is Monroe High School, hailing from Monroe NC in Union County, southeast of Charlotte NC.

Bunn students were able to purchase tickets during the week at the school, and buses were planned to get students to and from the stadium; however, those without tickets should still be able to pick get some at the stadium before the game.  NC State University’s Carter-Finley Stadium is located at 4600 Trinity Rd, Raleigh NC. The stadium ticket office is expected to offer tickets for $10.

Parade too!

The Town of Bunn is online at townofbunn.com, and their Christmas Parade is today at 10am. Bunn parades are generally a huge deal, with many participants and people lining Bunn’s main street on both sides. Today may be an exceptional parade as everyone gets into the spirit for the big Wildcats game tonight!
