With the release of his “Mile After Mile” album, Andrew Kurtz, worship leader of C3 Church announced his transition to a full-time music career.
Kurtz has been with C3 Church, located at 8246 Cleveland Road, Clayton, North Carolina, since 2013. In an official statement, Kurtz said:
“For the last six years I’ve had the privilege of being part of the staff at C3 Church, overseeing the worship ministry. During that time I feel that God has grown me, stretched me, and given me new dreams. I am so excited to announce that, beginning in January 2020, I’ll be pursuing a career in the music industry in an effort to follow these new dreams God has placed on my heart. I love my C3 Church family and will continue to call C3 my church home, when I’m not traveling with music. I am blown away by the support I’ve received from Pastor Matt and Martha, the C3 Staff and the whole C3 Church family.”
In addition to his statement, Kurtz shared the encouragement he received from Pastor Matt Fry, who told him, “Andrew, we want this C3 to be a place where people can dream. And where they have the freedom to pursue the dreams that God has put on their hearts.”

Caleb Fry, who trained under Andrew is the new worship leader. Kurtz passed the baton to Fry last month. C3 remains Kurtz’s home church and he’s still with the worship team when he’s not traveling.
