Conference on Elder Abuse and Aging is Jun. 1

The Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments (UCPCOG) Area Agency on Aging is holding a public conference on June 1, 2017. Admission is free, with lunch and snacks provided.

The event is designed for professionals, caregivers, and the general public. Elder Abuse and Aging is a topic that affects everyone.

There will be multiple speakers at this event to include Chief Tyree Davis of the Enfield Police Dept, Rhonda Taylor of the Northampton County DSS, Tyronda Whitaker, Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman, and more.

The location is the Nash County Ag Center and Offices, 1006 Eastern Avenue, in Nashville, North Carolina.
