This year is shaping up to be a busy year for Art at Franklin County Arts Council’s Gallery on the Hill. A mixture of new offerings and favorites from 2019 back by popular demand make for a busy schedule. New art offerings will include Student Art Saturdays and Drawing and Painting Lessons for Adults and youth.
Student Art Saturdays are the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month beginning in February from noon-3pm. Students will create an Art Project and a learn about different artist. Elementary Students on the 2nd Saturday and Middle School Students on the 4th Saturday. Home school students are welcome. All materials are provided. Cost of Art Saturday is $5 per session. (3) stop by the Gallery on the Hill at 99 S. Bickett Blvd, Louisburg, North Carolina.
You can pay with PayPal when you register online or pay at the Galley. February Art Saturdays students will create an impressionist tile using permanent markers and alcohol. They make greet gifts and coasters. February 8, 2020 is for Elementary Students and February 22, 2020 is for Middle School Students.
Do you want to learn to draw or paint? Franklin County Arts Council is working with local artist to offer drawing and painting classes for adults and youth. Classes will be at the Gallery on the Hill located at 99 S. Bickett Blvd, Louisburg NC. Watch Franklin County Arts Council website (fcacarts.org) and Facebook for more details.
Back by popular demand Painting with Clina Polloni. Clina teaches one class per quarter for Art Council Members only. Classes are FREE; you just need to be a member of The Arts Council. You can join online or stop by the Gallery On The Hill. The first class is February 15, 2020.
The Arts Council offers one day classes and workshops throughout the year. Coming in March is Felting for Adults with Margaret Hilpert and in April Be the Hero of Your Story: A Memoir Workshop with Alice Osborn. Register online at fcacarts.org or come by the Gallery on the Hill.
