Applications for the 2021-2022 Artist Support Grant are now available. Applicants who reside in the following North Carolina counties are eligible to apply through the Franklin County Arts Council (FCAC): Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Northampton, Vance, and Warren. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2021.
Artists who do not reside in these counties will need to apply with their own home region.
Grants may be provided for the following disciplines:
- Dance and Performing Arts
- Music
- Writing
- Visual Art and Craft
- Film
Maximum grant request: $1,000. Artists may only submit one application.
To submit a grant application online, go to Franklin County Arts Council website to access the Artist Support Grant instructions and North Carolina Arts Council application (PDF file) — available in English and Español. FCAC highly recommend submitting online, if possible.
Alternatively, artists may print and complete the application, and submit to the FCAC Gallery on the Hill at 99 S Bickett Blvd, or mail to:

If mailing, be sure to allow time for your application to be receive prior to the September 30th deadline. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
