Susan Aceti and Pat Kendrick plan to share the love with residents of the Zebulon House assisted living center in December.  Donations are sought for items to give to the 60 residents in time for the holidays during a Stockings event.

To prepare for the event, they are seeking Mini Zipper Pouch Sponsors in October and November for a Stockings Event at Zebulon House. They are also seeking donations of hygiene products, lip balms and lotions, treats, and sundries.  Not only will donated goodies brighten the day for these 60 Zebulon seniors, but the dozens of staff members who will be made aware of the local donors who brightened their residents’ day.

For the Valentine’s event held February 13, 2016, love bags were given to the residents and goodies to the staff.

Zebulon House is located at 551 Pony Road, in  Zebulon NC. It is an assisted living center, with amenities to make residents comfortable and provide activities. More information is online at www.meridiansenior.com/community/zebulonhouse.

To support this event, go to www.mythirtyone.com/susanaceti, click “My Parties” (top right), and select Zebulon House, shop now. Order item# 3013 in any pattern, as many as you can (we need 60), and these will be filled with lotion, lip balm, hand sanitizer, chocolates, goodies, and puzzles for the Zebulon House residents. Select Ship to Hostess when you check out.

In addition to items for the gift pouches, the organizers are seeking an artificial Christmas tree to set up during the event.

To help the day of the event, contact Tina Baines and volunteer to spread the joy by handing out bags and goodies, and spending time with the residents and staff.
