The Crossing at Hollar Mill is delighted to announce the second annual Winter Farmers Market! The concept of this market began a few years ago when Sarah Wood and Robert Locke saw an opportunity to provide local farmers with a space to sell their goods in the offseason. Many purveyors still have produce, meat, cheese etc. available but nowhere to meet their customers as the weather gets colder. Hosting a Winter Farmers Market fits into The Crossing’s vision of benefiting the community and helping to grow the local foods movement. We hope you’ll join us each Wednesday from November 1st to April 18th and support your farmers!
The Winter Farmers Market will be open every Wednesday, 10am-2pm, from November 1, 2017 through April 18, 2018. The Crossing at Hollar Mill is located at 883 Highland Avenue SE, Hickory NC.
In addition to the weekly Winter Farmers Market, The Crossing at Hollar Mill will hold a special, one-day Holiday Craft Market on Saturday, November 25, 2017, 9am-3pm. This special market event is designed to showcase local and handcrafted merchandise for the home and garden, as well as clothing and accessories for the entire family. It will feature upcycled crafts and one-of-a-kind items that cannot be found anywhere else. Shop the booths of professional artists and learn first-hand about their skills, training, and talent.
Admission is free for the Winter Farmers Market and the Holiday Craft Market, with free parking in designated areas. Market, events, and more may be found at www.thecrossinghickory.com.
