The public is invited to Art in the Woods Spring Art Show and Sale at Donna Campbell Smith’s home studio, 159 Mays Cross Roads, Franklinton, North Carolina on Sunday, May 6, 2018, 2-5pm. This event is sponsored by Smith and the Franklin County Arts Council.

Approximately twenty artists and authors will participate, showing and selling their arts, books and crafts on the grounds.

Smith says:

“Come commune with nature and local artists and have cookies and sweet tea while you shop for one of a kind Mother’s Day gifts — or a little something for yourself. We’re just going to have a good time with twenty artists from across eastern and central North Carolina participating.”

There will be paintings in various mediums, pottery, fabric and fiber art, crochet, handmade jewelry, quilts, books, eco printed scarves, collage, wood work, and art from reclaimed materials. Some artists will be demonstrating their art during the afternoon.

In addition, Donna and Dawn Lancaster will offer a free artist trading cards workshop and swap meet during the event. There will be free refreshments, door prizes, and live music.
