Spend your Spring and Summer Thursday nights listening and dancing to live music in downtown Rocky Mount. The 2019 Downtown Live! series schedule is set, and the fun beginning Thursday, May 23, 2019, when Chairmen of the Board performs on the lawn of the Imperial Centre for the Arts & Sciences, 270 Gay Street, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Chairmen of the Board has been a crowd-pleasing soul group for more than 30 years and is best known for its 1970 hit “Give Me Just A Little More Time.” The group was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 1999.

Said Special Events Coordinator Kayla Hillman:
“We’re excited to kick off a new season of Downtown Live! We’ve added a couple new groups to the mix this year, so we are hoping everyone will come out and have a good time on Thursday nights.”
Food and beverage vendors will be available.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
