On June 7, 2021, the Franklin County Arts Council and Quilt Trails of the Tar & Roanoke Rivers announced the 2021 Call for Submissions for this year’s Quilt Show, and are now accepting entries.
Entries are being accepted now (as of June 7, 2021) through the entry deadline of September 30, 2021. Quilts utilizing a variety of quilting styles may be submitted by quilters in Franklin County, North Carolina and surrounding counties.

Quilt Show submissions important dates:
- June 7, 2021 — Quilt entry open
- September 30, 2021 — Quilt entry closes (deadline)
- October 5, 2021 — Notification of acceptance by email
- October 13, 2021 — Quilt collection/drop-off (noon-4pm) at Gallery on the Hill 99 S. Bickett Blvd, Louisburg, NC
- Saturday, October 16, 2021 — Quilt Show!
- October 21, 2021 — Quilt return
From the photos submitted with each entry, selection will be made by a jury of Franklin County Arts Council Board members, committee chairs, and volunteers.
Selected entries will be displayed at the FCAC’s 3rd Annual Quilt Show at Historic Person Place in Louisburg, NC, on Saturday, October 16, 2021, 10am-5pm. Plan to attend this year’s Quilt Show — which is not just for quilters, but for anyone who enjoys fiber arts and seeing where the quilts of our grandmothers have evolved.
