Yoga in Galleries
Tuesdays, January 28-May 19, 2020 @ 5:30-6:30pm
Bring a yoga mat and get ready to unwind. Registration is not required, drop-ins welcome. Limited to 20 participants. Open to age 15 and up. Yoga is $7/class, or $30/5-class pass. Pre-registration suggested; Limited to 20 participants. No class April 14.
Family Arts Sundays
First Sunday of each month, February-May 2020 @ 2-4pm
Drop into the gallery for this free time of art making, interactive play, gallery sketching, or go on your own exhibition tour. All materials are provided. Open to all ages with accompanying adult(s). Registration is not required, drop-ins of all ages and up with accompanying adults welcome.
Talk & Draw
Thursdays, February 27, March 26, April 23, May 21, 2020 @ noon-1pm
All ages are invited to join an artist to explore art in two different ways. Free. Pre-registration is suggested, drop-ins welcome. Limited to 20 participants.
Mommy+Me Arts
Wednesdays, March 4-April 29, 2020 @ 10:30-11:30am
Explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative together. Each class introduces children and caregivers to a story, art materials and creativity. All materials are provided. Designed for ages 2 through 8 years old. Fee is $10 per child and adult. Pre-registration is suggested, drop-ins welcome. Limited to 15 participants. No class on March 11 and April 15.
Kids and Families Programs
Art Together: Family Art Workshops
Monday-Friday, April 13-17, 2020 @ 10-11:30am
These workshops may be attended/paid for one class at a time. Fee is $10/class per child and adult. Bring kids age 5 and up, with an adult, to make art. Every morning during spring vacation week, students, adults, and families are invited to get creative together. From painting, drawing, mixed media, and sculpture, every day will be something different. All materials included. No prior experience needed. Pre-registration suggested; Drop-ins welcome. Limited to 20 participants.
There is also a “Clay Arts Afterschool” kids and family program on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, with fee ranging from $130 to $195. Find details by searching this Imperial Centre web page.
Mini Sessions
These new offerings are three-class workshops that give attendees a chance to get creative and experiment with art. Learn about an artistic technique, experiment with various materials, and create something.
Palette Knife Painting
