The Imperial Centre for the Arts & Sciences will hold Kids’ Day on Monday, August. 6, 2018, 9am to noon.  Kids’ Day will feature arts and science activities, sweet treats, music, and prizes.

The Imperial Centre is located at 270 Gay Street, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. During Kids’ Day, exhibits will be open in the Arts and Science centers, and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will produce a music-education program.

Said Arts Curator, Alicyn Wiedrich:

“At the Imperial Centre, we care about positive, fun experiences for kids of all ages. This summer, the Arts Center has some SWEET exhibits on display through Sept. 9, so we wanted Kids’ Day to feature sweet treats of various kinds. We wanted the experience to be free for all who want to participate.”

Families are welcome — as are groups and camps. An RSVP is suggested for groups and camps by July 23.

Area sponsors of this Kids’ Day event include Zaxby’s, Krispy Kreme, Sheetz, and the Double Tree Hotel.
