Make a 55 Gallon Rain Barrel. Set it up at home and start conserving water. On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 6:15-7:15pm, Terra Vita Stewards staff will be at Lake Crabtree County Park conducting a rain barrel workshop.
Participants will make and take home a 55-gallon rain barrel with installation instructions. This hour long workshop is fun and easy. No prior skills required. Terra Vita Stewards staff will guide you through the building of your rain barrel.
Participants will use power tools and must wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing to work in.
Lake Crabtree County Park is located at 1400 Aviation Parkway, Morrisville, North Carolina. To register go to Lake Crabtree Park event registration. The cost is $45; make checks payable to “Terra Vita”. Sign up by September 25, 2018. Space is limited to eight participants per workshop.
