Dog owners are invited for an afternoon of fun with their pets during the city of Rocky Mount’s Splash Bark. The event will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018, 2-5pm, at Sunset Park’s Spray Park.
Owners may bring one or two dogs (maximum) for an afternoon of playing in the Splash Pad, riding on the train around Sunset Park, and taking part in the doggie swimsuit contest.
Participants will be required to show proof of rabies vaccinations, so be sure to bring current information for each pet.
Said Athletics Supervisor Alex Langley:
“The 2018 edition will mark the third installment of Splash Bark, and it has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in our community for dogs. The chance for dogs to let loose at the splash pad and catch the breeze on the Sunset Train makes this event the perfect way to close out the Dog Days of Summer!”
The Spray Park address for navigation is Sunset Park, 1550 River Drive, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Dogs must be on a leash when not playing in the spray area.
Note that contest prizes will be awarded by the folks from Muttley Crew LLC.
