The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department is inviting local families to participate in the second annual Family Gobblequest on Saturday, November 16, 2019, 10am. Join the fun with a quest followed by a movie at E. Carroll Joyner Park and Community Center, 701 Harris Road, Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Gobblequest is an opportunity for families to spend a morning together outdoors participating in an activity similar to a scavenger hunt. Turkey cutouts will be hidden throughout Joyner Park’s various trails and greenways. Families that “find” one of the turkey cutouts may redeem it for a special award (limit one per family).
Following the turkey hunt, the festivities will move inside the Joyner Park Community Center for a free movie screening of “Free Birds.”
As part of this special event, the PRCR Department will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items for the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry. Tri-Area Ministry will distribute the donated food items to people in need in our community.

The event is $5 per child, and space is limited. Pre-registration for Gobblequest is required and may be done via the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department’s online registration portal.
