Wilson County Public library offers public programs throughout November at the Main Library, 249 Nash Street West Wilson, North Carolina. In addition to Main Library programs listed, branch library and bookmobile events are included below.
Main Library
For children, early literacy programs will continue at the Main Library every Wednesday and Thursday morning. Children ages birth-through-2 are invited to join the 9:30am program. Preschool age children are invited to join the 10am program.
There will be no teen programs for November.
A series of Introduction to Computers classes will be offered in the Conference Room Wednesday November 1, 8, and 15, 2017, from 2pm to 3:30pm. Registration is required by October 27. Each class builds on the one before, so please plan to attend all three classes. For more information and to register, call Mark at 252.237.5355 x.5074.
Whirligig Festival Friends of the Library Book Sale is Saturday, November 4, 2017, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, November 5, 2017, noon-5pm.
Adults are invited to a screening of the documentary film, Alice’s Ordinary People. The Civil Rights Movement era documentary will be shown on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 6pm in the assembly room.
Adults are invited to Clothing Closet, a collection of donated, gently used clothes for participants to wear during job interviews. Clothing Closet will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017, 1-2:30pm, in the Conference room.
