Zebulon Food Pantry Gives, and Needs

Contributed by Cindy Privette

Families from Zebulon and Wendell may receive nonperishable food items from the Zebulon United Methodist Church’s food pantry, based on the number of members in the family. No proof of financial need is required, just a valid ID or other proof of residency.

Donations are always needed, and the food pantry shopping list includes the following: cereal, Hamburger/Tuna Helper, grits, hamburger (1 lb), tuna, oatmeal, dried beans (1 lb), rice (1 lb), peanut butter, soup, jelly, saltine crackers, Ramen noodles, macaroni & cheese, baby food, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, chips, and snacks.

The Food Pantry is in the Zebulon United Methodist Church Mission House, located at 114 W Sycamore Street, and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-10:30am.
