Donate Your Gently Used Coats and More

By Cindy Privette, Zebulon United Methodist Church

If you have coats that your children have outgrown or that you no longer wear, why not donate them to help others in your community?  Zebulon United Methodist Church (ZUMC) will take your gently used coats of all sizes as well as scarves, gloves, blankets, and other cold weather necessities. These items will be distributed during our outreach ministry Warming the Heart of the Community on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Coats and other donations may be taken to the ZUMC church Mission House, located at 114 W Sycamore Street, Zebulon NC. Donations may be dropped off at the Mission House from Monday through Friday, 9am to 11am, until November 10.

We can also use personal hygiene items and stuffed animals.

On Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11am-3pm, ZUMC is holding Warming the Heart Of the Community at ZUMC, 121 W Gannon Avenue, Zebulon NC. All are invited to join us for hot soup and sandwiches. Coats of all sizes will be distributed.

If you have questions, contact, the ZUMC church office at 919.269.9408 or Cindy Privette at 919.601.1575 or via email.

This coat giveaway event is sponsored by both Zebulon United Methodist Church and Wakefield Central Baptist Church, also in Zebulon NC.
