Adult Programs Offered at Knightdale NC Library

East Regional Library holds adult classes on topics ranging from fitness to finance to fun.

Some events require registration, while others are walk-in events. All are scheduled for East Regional Library, located at 946 Steeple Square Court, in Knightdale NC. To register, or ask questions, contact the library at 919.217.5300.

Listed below are just a few of the adult programs scheduled for January 2016.

January 9, 2016, 3:30pm
TED Talk: Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are
Come watch Ann Cuddy’s TED Talk and inspire a “new you” in the new year, followed by a lively discussion.  Registration Required.

January 13, 2016,  5:30-7pm
Meet the Artists: Pottery
Meet artisans of The Triangle Potters Guild as they showcase their works and demonstrate both handbuilding and wheel thrown pottery.  No registration is needed.  Drop

January 28, 2016, 6:30-8:30pm
SCORE:  Financing options for small business.

This workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs offers an overview of financing for a new or existing business. Outside funding options, including commercial bank loans, SBA-backed loans, and sources of equity capital such as angel investors and venture capitalists, will be covered.

January 16, 2016,  2-3pm
Downton Abbey Tea Party

You are cordially invited to attend a tea party celebrating the final season of Downton Abbey. Join us for a fun event featuring trivia and fun facts about this show set in the Edwardian era. Tea and light refreshments will be served. Bring your own tea cup (optional). Registration required.
