Sell your wares, pass out information on your services, or otherwise participate as a vendor at Fall events. Vendor opportunities are coming up at NC Fall events. Participate for a day or for a season. Check out the opportunities listed below.

Black Creek Heritage Day Festival

Vendors are invited to sign up for this annual Heritage Day Festival, which will be held in Black Creek NC on October 13, 2018 (9am-4:30pm). This first come, first serve opportunity invites arts and craft vendors, direct sales booths, food — but not hot dogs, and demonstrators.

Vendor space choices are:

  • $30 for 10×10
  • $40 for 12×12
  • $50 for 20×20

Electric is available and limited. Vendors provide their own table, seating, and tent (optional). The event is outdoors, so plan accordingly.

If interest in being a vendor at this festival, contact Ellen E. Dawson, Event Coordinator, via email or call 252.243.3540 — leave your name, product to be sold, and your email address. Online, messages may be sent via the town’s Facebook page. The coordinator can provide you with a vendor application along with set-up and breakdown instructions. Vendors are not duplicated. Already confirmed are Avon, Thrive, Paparazzi, Younique, and Scentsy.

This year’s festival will include The Embers Featuring Craig Woollard, on stage noon-3pm. In case of a series weather event, the festival will have a rain date of October 20, 2018.

 

Clayton Harvest Festival

This year’s festival is September 12-16, 2018. This event is organized by the Town of Clayton NC and the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, with over 200 vendors and the potential for attendance to be upwards of 30,000 people.

This festival includes multiple facets, including Clayton Idol, a BBQ Squealin’ on the Square, a Kids Hotdog Creation Contest, and a Latin American Festival.

Deans Farm Market Fall Festival

Vendor spots are offered during this September 29-30, 2018 festival at Deans Farm Market, 4231 NC Hwy 42 W, Wilson NC. Vendor fee is $50 for the two day festival, or $25 for one of the days. NC Hot Sauce Contest and Festival

Scheduled for September 8, 2018 (11am-4pm) in Historic Downtown Oxford NC. Vendor opportunities are available at this festival, which will include vendors alongside a car show, the Bailey Farms pepper eating contest, and more.

National Pumpkin Festival

The Spring Hope NC 47th-annual festival is accepting applications for Craft Vendors and Food Vendors. The National Pumpkin Festival is scheduled for October 5-6, 2018, and offers activities, entertainment, food, contests, and vendors. The festival draws thousands of visitors each year, taking over the downtown area.

The deadline for Craft Vendors to apply is September 14, 2018. Rental fee is $100 per space for crafters for space October 6, 2018, 9am-5pm.

Food vendors may apply and the fee is $425 per space for food vendors, with a deadline to apply of August 1, 2018. Food Vendors will be provided space October 5, 2018, 4-10pm, and October 6, 2018, 9am-5pm.

NC Muscadine Festival

This annual celebration of the Muscadine is held at the Duplin County Events Center, 195 Fairgrounds Drive, Kenansville NC. This year’s festival is September 28-29, 2018. Vendor spots are $100 plus fees for electricity if desired.

The RTP Mistletoe Market

The fourth-annual Mistletoe Market returns December 13, 2018 (4-7pm). The market takes place at The Frontier, 800 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park NC. This holiday market offers holiday shopping from local vendors and artisans. Shoppers may also enjoy complimentary beer and wine.

Rolesville BBQ and Bands Festival

Scheduled for September 15, 2018, this annual festival offers vendor space for up to 50 vendors. Fees range from $35 to $50 with lower rates for Rolesville Chamber of Commerce members. Vendor to provide their own tent; Chamber provides vendor space at the Thales Academy location, 1101 Granite Falls Blvd, Rolesville NC. No food vendors, but arts, nonprofit, business, and other vendors may apply. See vendor information on this Rolesville Chamber web page.

Selma Saturdays

The “Selma Saturdays Arts & Crafts Market” is returning for its third year. The market welcomes arts and craft vendors and farmers to sell their wares. Fees start at $20 per date, with seasonal rate available.

Fall market dates are September 8, October 13, and November 10, 2018 in Selma NC. Interested vendors may print the rules and application from www.selma-nc.com/selma-saturdays.

Tarboro Market

The Tarboro Market is an opportunity to “share passions with like minded makers, growers, and collectors.” The Market begins in April and runs through the end of October 2018, with market open 8am-noon (rain or shine). Weekly Wednesday markets located at 102 Grandville Street, Tarboro NC. On the first and third Saturdays, the market will be at 526 N Main Street, Tarboro NC — under the portico of the Tarboro Brewing Company.

Vendor fee is $10 per market, or:

  • Saturday Season Vendor fee is $70 ($5 x 14 Saturday Markets).
  • Wednesday Season Vendor fee is $150 ($5 x 30 Wednesday Markets)

Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair

Vendor opportunities are available in this Goldsboro NC event. The 70th-annual fair is scheduled for September 27-October 6, 2018.

Vendors are selected by fair management “based on availability, attractiveness, and product variety.”  Review and submit the 2018 vendor application to be considered for a vendor space. Vendor space fees range from $250 to $1,200.

NC Whirligig Festival

The NC Whirligig Festival is held in Historic Downtown Wilson NC each year, celebrating the life of local folk artist Vollis Simpson and his whirligig creations. This year’s festival dates are November 3-4, 2018.

Note that vendor spaces are expected to fill far in-advance.

Festival organizers are seeking a variety of artisans, food and drink purveyors, nonprofit, and commercial businesses that want “to help make the festival whirl!”

Zebulon Farm Fresh Market “Holiday Market”

Zebulon Farm Fresh Market (ZFFM) closes in October, then reopens for two days in November to provide holiday shopping. Vendor spaces are available for the November 16, 2018 (4-7pm) and November 17, 2018 (9am-3pm) Holiday Market with vendors, entertainment, food trucks, and more in Zebulon NC.

Vendor spaces are available for a small fee, and space may fill quickly.
