On three Mondays in March, the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield (PLJCS) will host presenters for a Financial Wellness series. No registration is required for these free sessions.
This is the first time that PLJCS has offered a series of financial programs in a row. It is the brainchild of Katie Barbour, who reached out to local representatives and invited them to speak on financial topics.
Scheduled presentations are:
- How to Buy your First Home on Monday, March 9, 2020 @ 2-3pm (presented by KS Bank in the 2nd floor Board Room)
- How to Create a Budget on Monday, March 16, 2020 @ 6:30-7:30pm (presented by NCSECU in the 2nd floor Meeting Room)
- How to Save for College on Monday, March 23, 2020 @ 6-7pm (presented by CFNC in the 2nd floor Meeting Room)
Attend one, or all three events, to be held in the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield, 305 East Market Street, Smithfield, North Carolina.
