Rocky Mount Event Center’s Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, October 25, 2018, 4:30-8pm, is free and the public is invited. This special event will include three musical performances. Come and enjoy amazing music, and check out the city’s newest event facility.
Live performances are scheduled by (drumroll):
- The Tams
- Deep Fried Funk
- George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic (on-stage around 7pm)
Did I mention that this event is free? Thank the Rocky Mount Event Center for providing this fantastic musical line-up, at no charge to the public, for its Grand Opening celebration.
The Rocky Mount Event Center is located at 285 NE Main Street, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. (See our article on parking/shuttles here.)
Doors open at 4pm. The first 75 people will receive a free hot dog and soft drink, too.
The master of ceremonies will be ABC 11 Chief Meteorologist, Chris Hohmann. Remarks will be made by dignitaries. There will also be a Family Fun Zone with games and activities.
(And, you know, George Clinton will perform!)
