The first-annual Southeast Region industrial hemp exposition and festival will be hosted in beautiful North Carolina. The Carolina Hemp Festival will be August 30-September 1, 2018 at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley, 4500 Marriott Drive, Raleigh NC.
This unique experience will draw together industrial hemp farmers, professionals, innovators, enthusiasts, and advocates who would like to connect and highlight this blooming farming industry in the Southeast Region market.
This festival’s focus is to develop a strong foundation for consumer awareness with positive industry growth. These inaugural efforts will create leverage, security for farmers, and highlight ideas on how participants can lead the way in industry innovation and standards in this region.
The line up of speakers includes local and national hemp industry experts, including Blake Butler, Executive Director of the NC Hemp Commission, and Bob Crumley, CEO of Founders Hemp.
On Saturday, visit the more than 100 exhibitors throughout the venue, and watch a live demonstration of hemp processing by Hemp Logic’s “Hemp Hub” as the nation’s only mobile decortication system makes a stop at this Raleigh festival on its national decorticator tour.
Demonstrations of techniques will be held too, including extraction, building supplies usage, and cooking demonstrations with MaZoe Anderson, CEO of Cannifusion.
The expo and festival includes networking time — Hemp Mixers by the pool and a Farmers Banquet — throughout the three-day gathering.
