Home Gardening Workshop

The Extension Master Gardeners of Currituck and Dare Counties will be conducting a Home Gardening Workshop providing information to people interested in or already participating in home gardening, weekend gardening, or community gardening. The workshop will consist of six speakers including Extension Master Gardeners, Extension Agents, and local garden experts covering a variety of topics including building a greenhouse on a budget, vermiculture/composting, growing pollination gardens, garden design, and vegetable gardening. At the Bellamy Mansion Museum, 503 Market Street, Wilmington NC. Bringing together local breweries and food trucks — plus champagne and mimosas. According to the website, “We’ll have several Wilmington and North Carolina breweries pouring up beer samples along side wineries sharing their bubbly offerings. Try the local fare from our area food trucks and explore the creative cocktails at the mimosa bar while enjoying thine from DJ Professor Dub! Admission is $15.00 and includes 5 sampling tickets. Additional beer and wine sampling tickets will be available on site for $1.00/each. Food will be on sale by the individual trucks. Well behaved dogs on leashes and well mannered children are allowed. Children over 5 must have a kids ticket.” Tickets for sale online. There are no refunds; this event is scheduled rain or shine.
