Got To Be NC Festival is May 18-20, 2018

The Got To Be NC Festival is currently accepting applications from food and merchandise vendors who would like to be a part of the XX-annual festival.

Each year, the Got To Be NC Festival offers free days showcasing North Carolina agriculture, with a variety of foods, displays, and family activities. Attendees have an opportunity to learn about NC agriculture and to taste some of what NC has grown. For local people and businesses interested in selling their wares or handing out service information, the festival offers spots for outdoor vendors and Expo Center vendors.

The Outdoor Vendor application is here including rate information. Outside vendor spaces are reserved by the foot, with a 10-foot minimum. Expect a calculated rate of several hundred dollars, plus extra for electric or corner locations. The organizers must receive the completed application (and fees) on or before April 1, 2018. Note that the application is for “consideration of space”, and does not guarantee a spot.

The 2018 Exposition (Expo) Center Exhibitor Application is available here. Also with an application deadline of April 1, 2018, the Expo Center booths start at $150 for standard booths, $200 for corner booths, with additional options available for fees.

In addition to vendor opportunities, the festival will again feature the farm equipment display. Registration is open for those who would like to display their tractors or antique equipment. The festival includes a Bluegrass Band Competition, too, and sponsorship opportunities.

The Got to Be NC Festival is held annually at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh NC. For those planning to attend this agricultural event, admission is free, and so is parking. Rides, vendor foods,  and other events and attractions will be available for purchase. Last year’s festival drew 75,000 attendees.

Festival information may be found at www.gottobencfestival.com including links to the applications and registrations above.

Updates may be posted to the Got To Be NC Festival’s Facebook page as the event dates approach. Photographs of past festivals may be found on that Facebook page.
