Comic World in Zebulon, North Carolina will be holding its third-annual Halloween party, “Haunted Asylum,” complete with a haunted house, costume contest, face painting, and treats. No registration is required to join the fun on Saturday, October 31, 2020, 5-8pm.

Kids and teens are invited to come in costume and take part in the Costume Contest, which is open to ages 0-15.

The Coastal Concessions food truck — selling “fair foods” like funnel cakes, cotton candy, and more — will be in the Comic World parking lot with goodies available for purchase.

Kids (and adults) may have their faces painted during the Haunted Asylum Halloween party at Comic World.

Face painting will be available during the event, and is free for children. If time allows, adults may be able to get their faces painted, too.

Zebulon pottery will be on-hand, providing games and candy for the kids.

Don’t miss this Halloween night of fun, and alternative to trick-or-treating (or a stop along your ToT route). Get free candy for the kiddos, and check out the shop’s offerings of comics — spooky or superhero, used or new — and game-related gear.

Social distance will apply, with a limit of 2-4 people walking through the “asylum” together.

Comic World is located at 122 E Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC. Parking is available in front and in the adjacent lot (next to the old Mincey’s Shoes building). Parking will be restricted around the food truck.
