Part of Denver’s Month of Print Making for 2016
Released by Valkarie Gallery, via denverarts.org
Mirror, Mirror will be a juried exhibition by local artist and owner/publisher of 1/1 Magazine, Raymundo Muñoz. This exhibition will be part of Denver’s “Month of Print Making” for 2016.
Several forms of print making require making a mirrored image to create the final piece and so the show takes its name from this process but should only be used as a starting point for artists to consider when submitting work. One could interpret it as a self portrait, reflections, facing oneself in some way, human hands, chirality in chemistry, twins, etc.
Entry is open to Colorado artists at least 18 years of age. All forms of printmaking are eligible. All accepted entries must be framed and/or be ready to hang.
The deadline to submit entries is Sunday, February 7, 2016, midnight. Artists whose work has been accepted into the show will be notified by Sunday, February 14, 2016.
Submit images along with medium, size, artist’s name, price and year of completion to Valkarie Gallery via hello@valkariefineart.com. Images should not exceed 1MB in file size. Cost is $25 for up to three (3) images, $45 for four (4) to six (6) images. Payment can be made through PayPal to that address with subject line “Mirror, Mirror Entry”.
