The Town of Knightdale invites all stakeholders to a multi-day, Community Design Charrette, January 29-February 2, 2018, at Knightdale Town Hall, 950 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale North Carolina.

The Design Charrette is an important component of putting together the KnightdaleNext 2035 Comprehensive Plan. A Design Charrette is an intense, participatory public input and design process where you are invited to work directly with your neighbors and a multidisciplinary consulting team. The entire process is open to the public at all times.

A complete schedule of Charrette activities may be found at www.KnightdaleNext.com.

On the opening evening, Monday, January 29, KnightdaleNext will be hosting a Family Fun Night from 4-8pm at the Knightdale Public Safety Building, 979 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale NC, with activities for the entire family.

Tuesday and Wednesday will consist of Deep Dive sessions focusing on specific topics at the Design Studio in Knightdale Town Hall.

The Design Studio is open daily (Schedule at www.KnightdaleNext.com) with evening hours on Tuesday and Thursday.

The entire week is open to the public and participation is encouraged.

The KnightdaleNext Comprehensive Plan recently hosted a Community Ideas Exchange Workshop where citizens participated in hands-on interactive activities focused on Recreation, Transportation, Land Use, and Placemaking. The event was held at Knightdale Baptist Church in the Family Life Center with approximately 70 participants. A series of weekly workshops entitled Workshop Wednesdays have been hosted all over Town in order to encourage public participation in the Comprehensive Plan.
