The Knightdale Farmers Market is opening May 14, 2016, with plans set out through the season for market vendors, themes, and special events.
In Knightdale, the Farmers Market is a town-sponsored marketplace for farmers and artisans located in the new open-air pavilion at Knightdale Station Park, 812 N First Avenue, in Knightdale NC.
This year’s market runs Saturdays from 10am to 2pm, from May 14, 2016, through October 8, 2016. Vendors for the market include farm produce, honey, baskets, prepared foods, and arts and crafts — a wide variety from jewelry to soaps and oils to yarn and birdhouses. The complete list of vendors, with information about their products, is on the Town of Knightdale website on this page. That page also includes the vendor application, as even after the market opens new vendors may be added, including special vendors for some themes.
Bring your kids by the “Kids Corner” to play and learn while you shop the market. Each week’s activity will feature the theme for the week.
Each Saturday, the theme changes, with special events occassionally, live music, and guest exhibitors. Plans set so far for the 2016 Knightdale Farmers Market, which may change, are included below by date.
