The Nashville Blooming Festival is coming up May 12-13, 2017, in downtown Nashville, North Carolina. As part of planning this 21st-annual event, the Nashville Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to help cover certain activities. Here are the known tasks for which volunteers are needed for the 2017 Blooming Festival.
Chamber Tent
Duties will include selling Blooming Festival T-shirts, passing out membership apps, answering festival questions, and more.
Friday, May 12, 2017, . Three volunteers are needed to cover the tent 5:45-8pm, which includes set up.
Saturday, May 13, 2017: For each shift, two volunteers are needed:
- 8:45am – 11am — includes tent organization
- 11am-1pm
- 1pm-3pm
- 3pm-5pm (includes break down)
Train Rides
Duties include collecting money and assisting people load into the train. Saturday, May 13, 2017. For each shift, two volunteers are needed:
- 1-2pm
- 2-3pm
- 3-4pm
Parade
Saturday, May 13, 2017: Several volunteers are needed to cover a variety of duties. If you’re interested in helping with the parade, let the Chamber know.
Golf Cart Shuttle
Saturday, May 13, 2017: Shuttle people from the festival to the parade area, 10-11am. Two volunteers are needed.
