For the fifth consecutive year, the Rockin’ Classic Auto & Motorcycle Expo is set to cruise into the city of Rocky Mount NC. On July 30, 2016, beginning at 10am on Main Street in downtown. All are invited to check out restored vehicles and “tricked out” cars and motorcycles.

Area residents and visitors can enjoy the charm of downtown and the congregation of impeccable cars and motorcycles on the Douglas Block. Throughout the day, cars will be showcased, food and various other vendors will be present, and there will be live entertainment from the Main Event Band. The classic will end with a motorcycle and car parade at 2:45pm.

Judging begins at 11am with categories like Best Import, Best Ford, Best Chevy, Best of Show, Sport Bike, Harley Cruiser and more. There will also be a People’s Choice Award. The general public will vote on the People’s Choice Award. Trophies will be presented to the winners.

“The Rockin’ Classic Auto and Motorcycle Expo has quickly become one of the most anticipated yearly events,” says Susan Ball Phelps, special events coordinator for the city of Rocky Mount. “The event connects the past with the present. So, no matter your preference, there is fun for all!”

The schedule for the day includes:

  • Car Registration:  8:30-11am
  • Rockin’ Classic Begins:  10am
  • Judging Begins:  11am
  • LIVE entertainment:  12:30pm-2pm
  • Presentation of winners:  2pm
  • Motorcycle & Car Parade:  2:45pm
