Rocky Mount Area Chamber to Hold 113th Annual Meeting

The Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 113th Annual Meeting on February 2, 2017, at 6pm, in the Brown Auditorium at Nash Community College, 522 North Old Carriage Road, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The city’s Chamber dates back to 1904, when the first gathering of citizen took place.

At this Annual Meeting, the Rocky Mount Area Chamber will recognize the winner of three awards — The Distinguished Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year — for their outstanding local service throughout 2016.

The Chamber will also have the passing of the gavel to 2017 Chamber Chairman of the Board, Marty Nealey.

Attendees come from businesses and community-engagement agencies. Come to this meeting to start off 2017 networking with old and new chamber members, prospective members, local politicians, new board members, new and past chairmen, and members of the general public.

Part of the meeting includes showing of the Chamber “year in review” video and announcing new partners, board members, and the new chairman.
