Mayor David Combs to deliver Rocky Mount’s State of the City address

Rocky Mount, North Carolina’s annual State of the City address is scheduled for March 14, 2016, at 6:30pm. Delivered by Mayor David Combs, the address will provide a recap of 2015 highlighting significant accomplishments, and potential opportunities for 2016.

“As always, I am excited to share the accomplishments of the previous year and to preview the year ahead,” says Mayor Combs. “There are many positive changes on the horizon, along with many positive highlights from 2015, such as the expansion of Draka Elevators and the addition of Pfizer to our community.”

To attend this public address, arrive at the third floor council chambers of the Frederick E. Turnage Municipal Building, Rocky Mount’s City Hall, prior to the start time. The address is 331 S Franklin Street, Rocky Mount NC.

Attendees at this year’s State of the City address are asked to share their most significant highlights of the speech by joining in on the conversation via Twitter, using #rmstateofthecity. The speech will also be videotaped and aired at a later date on CITY TV-19 and on the city’s YouTube channel.

A meeting of the Rocky Mount City Council will immediately follow the State of the City address.
