The Wendell Appearance Commissioner invites you to the second annual Spring Into the Art Walk — a day long gala of visual, fine and performing arts!
The second annual Spring Into the Arts Walk will feature several local artists in an open air art competition throughout downtown. Artists will set up in Wendell’s historic downtown district and beyond. Walkers are invited to watch the artists create a masterpiece highlighting Downtown Wendell beginning at 9am and ending at 4pm. From 12 noon until 3pm, be amazed as a sidewalk chalk artist takes creative liberties with the walking pavement along North Main Street.
Join us at the J Ashley Wall Square [Third and Cypress Streets] for a picnic while enjoying the acoustic harmonies of a bluegrass performance by The Grass Cats from 2pm to 4pm. Join us for the Artist Reception and Silent Auction at Wine and Beer 101 on Main Street from 5pm to 6:30pm to meet the local artists and view their creation.
