The Town of Wake Forest will accept applications from food truck vendors who are interested in participating in the 2019 Fireworks Spectacular. Applications will be accepted until the deadline of Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
This year’s Fireworks Spectacular is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road, Wake Forest, North Carolina. Gates open at 5:30pm — food trucks are required to arrive and set up between 3pm and 4pm
The food truck vendor fee is $175, and the event includes space for up to nine food vendors.
Participating food trucks are required to obtain all necessary Wake County permits, including a Mobile Food Unit (MFU) permit.
Each vendor must also provide a copy of its Certificate of Insurance designating the Town of Wake Forest as an additional insured for the event date. A minimum of $1,000,000 in insurance is required.
The online application is available at www.wakeforestnc.gov/citizen-engagement/community-calendar/independence-day-celebration/fireworks-spectacular.
Last year’s Fireworks Spectacular drew well over 10,000 spectators.
The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department will notify selected food truck vendors in May. For more information, contact PRCR Events Coordinator Suja Jacob at 919.556.7063 or via email.
