The Baptist Men’s Stew and BBQ Chicken dinner is coming up at Clydes Chapel Baptist Church.
Take out begins March 19, 2016, at 4:30pm. For those who prefer to sit down and eat at the church, that option is available starting at 5pm. The public is welcome to come and enjoy the stew and BBQ at the location, or to take some home. BBQ chicken plates to go are available for $8, with stew sold separately by the quart ($6). For those dining in, there will be a buffet for $8 for adults, and $4 for children 6-12 years old. Children 6 and under may eat with their families for free.
Money raised from the event is set to benefit missions. This event is sponsored by the Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church Baptist Men. Women from the church will have homemade desserts on hand. Additionally, they are raffling off a quilt.
The church, plate sale, and buffet are scheduled at the church, located at 16657 Buffalo Road, in Wendell NC.

Clyde’s Chapel is a loving fellowship of Christians who enjoy spending time together. We worship, pray, do mission projects and share many meals together. We are a rural church with many of our members living on family farms that go back over 100 years. All ages attend, from babies to senior adults past 90 years of age. Many of our members work in state government jobs, serve as teachers, firemen, do construction, or work in the health care field. Most of those who still farm, do so part-time, and work other jobs or are partly retired. Coming from a country background, our members know how to love and care for each other. When new people come to our church, they quickly become part of the family. There is a place for you, and we welcome you to become part of Clyde’s Chapel.
