A giveaway of free clean clothes and shoes is coming up for the Wilson County community and surrounding areas. On November 27, 2016, 8am-2pm, anyone from Wilson County and surrounding areas may come to Pender Street Park, in Wilson NC to chose garments, shoes, and accessories for all ages.
Clothing for this giveaway has been donated by two area companies: Sweetriches.LLC, run by Crystal Richardson, and Injoyable Blessings (I.B.), run by Angela Knight. At least 3-5 items per person are planned to be available.
“We started this last year around this time and it was a good turn out to the community,” said Ms. Richardson. “So, it is something we decided to do annually.”
There is no registration. Anyone coming to pick up items will be asked to provide their name and contact information for future giveaways and events.
