Wilson County Public Library is holding a number of programs in October at the main branch library.
For children, early literacy programs will continue at the Main Library on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
- Children ages birth through 2 are invited to join the 9:30am program.
- Preschool age children are invited to join the 10am. program.
Adults are invited to visit the library on Monday, October 24, 2016, at 6pm to listen to spooky tales from North Carolina’s rich past. Adults are encouraged to share their own tales—if they dare.

Families are also invited to the Scaremongers’ Showcase on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 3pm. Children are invited to wear costumes as they listen to library staff tell holiday tales!

Teens interested in writing are invited to register for a Creative Writing Workshop on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at 4pm, hosted by a local author.
Teen Movie Night featuring Ghostbusters will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 6pm.
For the tech-loving teen, a Google Cardboard program will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 4pm.

Adults and families can bring their current craft project to the library’s monthly crafting club, Crafternoon, on the first Thursday of the month at 2pm. Adults needing inspiration for their next craft project can register for the Recycled Book Wreath Craft program on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 6pm, and Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 2pm.
