All are invited to come out to the second-annual Taylorsville Apple Blossom Festival in the streets of downtown Taylorsville NC on May 6, 2017, 9am-5pm.

The downtown area will be full of vendors offering foods, crafts, jewelry, home improvement displays, novelties, medical businesses, Alexander County agencies, and many more.

Enjoy activities including:

  • a Car Show
  • AG Bowl Quiz Contest with Cow Milking
  • Pony Rides
  • Zootastic Petting Zoo from Troutman NC
  • Walk in the Woods Petting Zoo from Concord NC
  • Spring-O-Mania Kids Zone with rides from Recreational Equipment
  • Little Blue Choo Train Rides, Hay Rides
  • a 5K Color Fun Run (sponsored by the Alex. Co. YMCA)
  • two Entertainment Stages
  • and so much more.

Take time to go see “Elvis” on Gospel Stage at 11am-noon sponsored by Town & Country Drug and Peoples Drug.

Make sure to go to Main Stage for the Battle of the Bands and place your vote for the People’s Choice Award for the Battle Contest. All contests and shows will be awarding prizes, trophies, and/or gift certificates or tickets.

The festival day includes lots and lots of activities for the entire family. There are so many fun things to do it is hard to list them all!

Greenway Transportation will be providing a shuttle for this event. Just park your car along the route and flag the driver or park at Walmart and he will be sure to pick you up at this park and ride spot.

Come out and support this community event where all proceeds, above operating costs, go to the Needy Children’s Benevolence Funds in the 13 Alexander County NC schools.
