The Town of Wake Forest’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department will host Family Movie Nights this summer. Free and open to the public, the film series will feature “Aladdin” on Saturday, July 24, 2021, and “Black Panther” on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Both will be projected on a 26-foot inflatable movie screen in the Joyner Park Amphitheater, 701 Harris Road, Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Showtime is 8:30pm on both dates. Anyone planning to attend is urged to arrive early as viewing space may be limited.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, cooler, blanket and/or chairs; but, alcohol, smoking, and unleashed pets are prohibited. No food vendors will be on-site selling snacks and refreshments.

In the event of rain, Family Movie Night may be moved inside Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road, Wake Forest, NC. Event updates may be posted on the Town website, Nextdoor site, and Facebook page. Smart phone users who have downloaded the Town of Wake Forest app will also receive a push notification message concerning any schedule changes.
